Ohh - Oobleck...

Making oobleck was wonderful (and messy) fun. Heather our cleaner thanked us for doing our experiment outside!

How to make oobleck

What you need:
Cornflour
Water
Food colouring
Bowl and spoon
Aprons

What to do:
1. Mix together 2 cups of cornflour and 1 cup of water
2. Add a couple of drops of food colouring
3. Stir until everything is well combined
4. Pick up some oobleck and experiment with it. Let it drip through your fingers, squeeze it and pour it.

Do you think oobleck is a liquid or a solid? What happens when you make it into a ball shape? Why do you think this happens?

Thanks to Olivia F for taking the great photos.
