Ka Boom! Welcome to term 2.

Welcome back to school! This term our inquiry topic is called Ka Boom! We will be finding out about solids, liquids and gases. This is what the class already know about science:

What is science?

• Science is learning about animals
• Science is about chemicals
• Science is about when people learn about un-ordinary things
• You make stuff in science
• Go out on boats to look for interesting fish

What would a scientist do at work?

• Experiments
• Look at bugs
• Look at ice cream
• Look at boxes
• Make volcanoes
• Look at art in frames
• Make fizzy things
• Look at rocks
• Look at trees
• Put potions together into bottles to make new potions
• Put chemicals into bottles
• Put colours into a bottle and mix them to make them explode
• They look through a magnifying glass
• Look at clams
