Mufti and Disco Day

Mufti and 'disgo' day has finally arrived. All the children wore super clothes to school today - aren't they a colourful bunch?

Today we wrote in groups about what we might see at the disco. Are you coming to the disco?

On Friday we are having a disco in the hall at school. You could buy a glow stick and sausages. It will be the best disco ever. We need some money to buy sausages.

More lost teeth

Wow - I can't believe how many children have lost teeth this week - and there are still some very wiggly teeth to come out! I wonder if this is happening in any other classes at our school?

Great shapes

During maths choosing both the Olivia's made some interesting shapes - have a look.

Autumn fun with room 16

On Friday the children and Mrs Simmons went on an autumn walk around the school. We decided to have a biggest leaf pile competition. Paddy was the judge. The children worked like beavers collecting the leaves. Room 16 won the competition as they had the biggest pile. Room 15's pile had the best shape. We all had a great time.

Olivia the scientist

Olivia was inspired by our oobleck science experiment. She made her own experiment by adding water, dishwashing liquid, sugar and food colouring. Her advice was to wash food colouring off your hands quickly as it stains!

Oobleck reconstituted

When we looked at our oobleck this morning it had turned into a solid. We discussed how to make it into a liquid again and Jarrelle suggested that we add some hot water. It did turn into a liquid again and then it seemed to be a solid too - how strange...

Could this be a record?

Today Jamie lost another tooth and Ethan lost a top tooth!
